The Every Student Succeeds Act (ESSA), a federal law, requires school districts to distribute school report cards annually to the families of all enrolled students, regardless of a school's Title I status or accountability designation. These report cards provide essential information, including assessment and accountability results, teacher qualifications, and other key district and school performance metrics.
