πβ **Impossible Shot Alert!** βπ
In every PE class, Mr. K selects a student who shows outstanding sportsmanship, a positive attitude, and a willingness to give their very best effort by attempting the *Impossible Shot*.
Today, we celebrated our **very first winner** at Palmer River Elementary Schoolβcongratulations to **second grader Winston**! ππ
What an exciting achievement and a great example of perseverance and positivity. Way to go, Winston! πͺπ―

This morning, our second graders boarded their very own version of The Polar Express for a truly unforgettable experience. Mrs. Mello, our conductor, led an engaging and interactive read-aloud of the classic story by Chris Van Allsburg, while Mrs. Grant had students singing along to a boisterous rendition of the βHot Chocolateβ song. What a joyful memory and a cherished traditionβfull of wonder, music, and holiday magicβhere at PRES! #EIS #WeAreDR #DrivingTowards2030

We are so grateful for our community partners at the Rehoboth Police Department. We can always count on RPD, and we truly appreciate their increased presence at PRES this weekβwe love having them here! From high fives with Sgt. Aguiar to reading lessons with SRO Detective Hedrick, our students light up when they visit. Thank you, Rehoboth Police Department, for your continued support, partnership, and commitment to our kids. #DRivingTowards2030 #EIS #WeAreDR

Big congratulations to our talented fourth grader, Morgan! Morgan had a beautiful piece featured in the Attleboro Art Museum Annual Members Exhibition. Her stunning pastel drawing of a peacock truly stood outβwhat an incredible accomplishment! Weβre so proud of you, Morgan. Your future is bright! #EIS #DT2030 #WeAreDR

πΊπΈβ¨ A Morning of Honor & Pride β¨πΊπΈ This morning, four PRES students proudly shared their original writing at National Wreaths Across America Day, held at the Rehoboth Village Cemetery and Redway Plain. Our third graders read heartfelt poems, and our fourth graders shared powerful essays reflecting on what makes veterans true heroes. Thank you to Jaime Papineau and Poppyβs crew for including us in this moving tribute. It was truly an honor to be part of such a meaningful day of remembrance and gratitude. β€οΈπ€π #WeAreDR #DT2030 #EIS

A huge thank you to our incredible PTSA for another magical Gingerbread Shoppe!
Each year, our amazing PTSA and parent volunteers transform this tradition into something truly special. They guide our students as they thoughtfully choose little gifts and trinkets to show appreciation for the people they loveβand the joy on our studentsβ faces says it all.
We are so grateful for the time, care, and heart that goes into making this event happen year after year, creating memories our students will cherish.
Thank you, PTSA, for filling our school with kindness, generosity, and cheer! #WeAreDR

This week, we celebrated students who have been shining examples of our November Monthly Mindset β Thankful. These students were nominated by their teachers for consistently showing gratitude, kindness, and appreciation for others throughout the month.
Their actionsβbig and smallβhelp create a warm, caring, and connected school community. We are so proud of each of them! ππ
We look forward to continuing to celebrate additional students nominated in the coming days.

Weβre proud to celebrate our ongoing partnership with Special Olympics and the Unified Schools Program! ππ Today, the Beckwith Believers joined us for an afternoon of connection, teamwork, and fun. Our students spent time getting to know one another through icebreaker games, lots of laughter, and plenty of cheering. We wrapped things up with a friendly round of indoor bocce, and wow, did our athletes shine! We had an absolute blast and canβt wait for our next Unified event. Partnerships like this make our community stronger, more inclusive, and endlessly inspiring.

The competition was fierce, the stakes were high, and the bragging rights were VERY realβ¦ but Mrs. Wrightβs students emerged victorious in the ultimate Sight-Word Rock, Paper, Scissors Battle this afternoon!
Who knew spelling sight words could feel like the championship round of an indoor rainy-day Olympics?
Such a fun (and surprisingly intense!) way to learn and stay entertained on a gloomy afternoon!

Thank you to our community and our staff for supporting every learner and helping our students grow with confidence. #WeAreDR #EIS #DT2030
